32 Weeks

Is it just me or is my kid the cutest kid around?!  This week Silas finally starting crawling!  And his second tooth poked through right next to his first!

Silas' Dedication

Today we dedicated Silas to the Lord at church!  We have been so blessed to be able to dedicate both of our boys at Bakersfield First Church where Ben serves as Youth Pastor.  We love this church and it's people!

Adoption Day!

Because Silas was born in Utah we chose to finalize his adoption in Utah.  When he was just a few days old we made an appearance in court and filed a motion in hopes that we would not have to return after the mandatory 6 month waiting period.  That motion was approved.

Today our lawyer is making another appearance in court, on our behalf, in which our petition to adopt will be granted and Silas will officially become a "George"!

We love this little guy so much and are thrilled to make him an official member of our family!

We promise he is just as excited even though the picture suggests otherwise. 

31 Weeks

No more play mat for this guy!  He's sitting up and playing with his toys like a big boy!

And if he's not sitting up he's rolling or scooting all over the place.  We still haven't seen more than one move forward in a crawl stance!  

We opened up the 12 month clothes box this week.  Yes, I said 12 months!  Yay for new (to Silas) PJ's!

He seems so small wearing these but I feel like it was just yesterday that Nathan was wearing them!
