Dear Nathan,

You've have accomplished quite a lot in the last few weeks.  I wasn't ready to announce to the world that your first word was "Mama" since you seemed to just be saying it at random--not necessarily to name me, your Mom!  But now you say it all the time!  You also say "Daddy" as well although we think it actually sounds like "Dad".  We are also pretty sure you say some version of "Doggy"!  You are also finally crawling!  You don't like lifting your belly off the ground for very long so it's more of an army crawl.  And you are fast!  When you arrive somewhere you are often out of breath and covered with dirt and dog hair (despite Mommy's cleaning efforts!)  You enjoy taking breaks from crawling by backing up and then sitting up.  Oh and did we mention that you love touching anything and everything?!  Especially if it's NOT a toy!  The fake plants, cords, lamp and fan seem to be your favorite things to get into the moment we take our eyes off you!  The dog crates are quite fascinating to you as you enjoy opening and closing the doors.  You also love to tear up paper and magazines!  You are definitely keeping us on our toes lately.  But we sure do love you!
