Hello everyone! We have been anxiously awaiting for our Home Study to be complete and we are excited to announce that IT IS which means we are officially certified to adopt!
We are taking the month of October to fill out grant applications and finish our matchbook letter (what Birth Parents look at when choosing a family for their child) and hope to be considered a waiting family in November!
Our adoption consultant is quite good at what she does as most of her clients are matched with Birth Families in just a few short months once they are actively waiting.
Although we are anxious to add to our family we are also nervous about the financial responsibility we will be taking on. We have been so grateful to so many of you who have participated in fundraisers or donated money to our cause. To date we have raised over $5,000!
Now that our Home Study is complete we are excited to share with you a new way that you can help us with the financial burden of adoption that is TAX DEDUCTIBLE!
