When we tried the 3 Day Potty Training method with Nathan and it failed I told myself I would never do it again! But I have learned that each child in a family can be VERY DIFFERENT so we tried it again and what do you know?! Success! Here's some pics of our Potty Lock-In with Silas. He did great and by the end of Day 1 pretty much had the hang of it!
We said bye-bye to daytime diapers and got our first pair of underwear on right after breakfast!
Because being locked inside is no fun for anyone I made sure to have lots of fun activities on hand. First up, sorting Buttons by color!
If you want to learn how to use the toilet you've got to have ammunition. Juice Boxes to the rescue!
Sticker Fun!
A very serious undie-wearing rockstar!
Popsicles helped fuel the flow for the potty as well.
A pool noodle cut into pieces to practice our fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Gotta keep it flowing-this time with a smoothie!
More fine motor fun with pasta, cheerios and play-doh.
Superhero Silas!
Aah! It's a ghost! Where did Silas go?
This kid was excited to try out scissors for the first time!
More popsicles! This one was a leftover smoothie that Mommy froze.
Giving our construction vehicles a bubble bath.
Water Gems + Shaving Cream = Messy Backyard Fun
Look at me Mom, I've got gloves!
Anytime we go to put on shoes this kid always wants to wear his boots!
Baking Soda + Vinegar + Food Coloring = Colorful Explosions
We are so proud of our little Potty Rockstar! We will be wearing pull-ups at night for awhile "just in case" but I have a feeling he won't need them for long!
