Build & Grow

Today we took Nathan to a "Build & Grow" Workshop at Lowe's.  Each month there is a different project for kids to do and the best part is, it's free!  Today Nathan Daddy got to build a birdhouse!

Hammering away.  Daddy kept an eye on his fingers at all times--this boy likes to swing a hammer!

Nathan's favorite part was putting the nails in the holes for Daddy

All done!  Well sort of...we followed the directions wrong and had to fix one part at home!  Oops!

A little help from Daddy's tool box at home and the birdhouse is complete!  Nathan is hoping some birds will make a home inside it.
