It doesn't feel real that we will be moving to California two weeks from tomorrow! We are in a contract with a buyer for our house and are waiting for the bank to approve the short sale. I've applied to seven different school districts in Bakersfield. We've booked our moving company. We put down a deposit on a house to rent in Bakersfield. We've started packing--finally! And we've even had a going away party thrown by friends of ours...CRAZY!
