Dear Nathan,

You are getting to be more and more fun each day!  You laugh and giggle (mostly for Daddy!) and smile at almost everything.  You seem to like the songs I make up and sing for you--maybe I'll have to record them one day.  Ha ha-not!  You are becoming more and more aware of the world around you--lately you have noticed the dogs and put your hand out for them to lick you.  You still do not like tummy time and prefer to be on your back where you can see more.  You are close to sitting up on your own but once you fall over and are on your tummy you do not like it!  You sleep completely unswaddled, although we are putting you in a sleep sack to make sure you are warm enough.  And you are a drooler!  A bib is a necessary accessory at this point in your life and if you don't have one on, your shirt is soaked.  Anything you get your hands on is in your mouth which for now is mostly your own hands.  This past week you have been going through a major growth spurt.  You went from eating every 4 hours and taking 2 hour naps to eating every 3 hours and only sleeping for 45 minutes.  Daddy and I miss your naps and hope they will return soon.  I love you son...more and more each day!
